Wrinkle Relaxer

Neuromodulators are substances that affect the activity of the nervous system by altering the release or function of neurotransmitters. In the context of aesthetic medicine, neuromodulators are injectable treatments that temporarily block nerve signals to muscles, causing them to relax. This relaxation reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, particularly in areas of facial expression, such as the forehead, around the eyes (crow’s feet), and between the eyebrows (frown lines). The most common neuromodulators used in LCtheNP Asethetic treatments are:

-Botox (Botulinum toxin type A) -Dysport (another form of botulinum toxin)

These neuromodulators work by temporarily inhibiting the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that signals muscles to contract. As a result, the treated muscles relax, leading to smoother skin and a more youthful appearance.

Neuromodulators are widely used for non-surgical cosmetic procedures and can also treat medical conditions such as chronic migraines, excessive sweating, and muscle spasticity. The effects are temporary, typically lasting 3 to 6 months, and regular treatments are needed to maintain results.
